Iterative Refinement

Quote from romanus:

My hypothesis is as follows.

1. Find a few examples of an IBGS which also provides a signal for change.

2. Compare and Contrast the examples which meet the criteria described with yesterday's 10:15 Bar.

3. Locate the differences.

4. Monitor for those same differences in the future.

5. Avoid repeating the same mistake as yesterday.

This process requires no additional procedural steps other than outlined above.

[PVTRader Chart]...

Your EOD Lateral begins with the Bar prior to the one you have annotated. See if this orientation doesn't change your viewpoint with respect to WMCN this morning.

Please point out my errors.

Yesterday (during the latter part of the day), the market formed a Down Traverse, followed by a Lateral. WMCN?. What did the market provide? Gap down, followed by a Lateral Retrace, followed by a Tape.

Once the sequences begin (this time in the oppositie[/b] direction, what does the trader anticipate? What actually developed?

Quote from ticktrade:

i forgot to add the bigger level gaussians.

This is like saying you arrived at the World Series to play Second Base for the Yankees, but forgot your Bat and Glove.

Morning, so far...

You might want to use software which correctly colors the Price and Volume Bars. The improper Bar coloration may be why your gaussians are off.

Posted my chart prior to reading your reply Spyder - will look into it. I am trying to get my guassians in line with my fractals. Thanks for the feedback.

So far... Did a few changes that seemed to make more sense based on some of the other charts posted - thanks.

Hope my chart did not mislead - it had many errors :(
