Iterative Refinement

I consider a short "No" answer carries the same value as any answer that can lead you back to the straight and narrow.
If you wish to consider it condescending and least helpful, it is your decision. You are free to set your expectation anyway you wish.

edit: Don't set the expectation that I can teach you anything; I have nothing to teach you, the best I can do is to offer you a link to where I found my answer.

I believe it's magic Mr. Black, black magic at that. Kidding aside though, as Joe Doakes once remarked to me, having a Bloomberg terminal and a membership in the CME probably gives one an edge in so far as being prepared for the 'news'. As Hershey traders we do have the STR-SQU, fine tool that it is.

IMHO, I think the issue here becomes one of authority. Anyone can throw out an opinion ("Yes"..., "Nope"..., "Go look for yourself",... etc...). But advise or an opinion which elaborates and offers more substance can be better digested and analysed by a learner as opposed to a terse response coming from other learning participants which may or may not command respect or authority.

O.T. I am licking my chops looking for the pending dominant movement here :D

It is a terse response ONLY if you chose to view it that way.
(i.e. you were expecting more, but not getting it.)

If you look at it as a preventer to the rabbit hole, you will thank him for saving yourself a lot of aggravation.

What's really scary - is that YM insisted on completing the sequence for pt3 down (13:44 close of) before jumping upwards.

This sequence stuff is is so powerful - it's not even funny anymore.

Quote from charts:

The bar seams to me a "Peak Volume", but the bar's mode is still Up. Next bar is a sym, then another inside close, so no signal of change (on my fractal). On the other hand I notice the beginning of an overall increased pace period. The 1145 shows again "Peak Volume" but followed by a Down mode bar.

PS: Can't understand why Tums and Avi 8 are... :(

Peak volume or pace acceleration, who cares?

This system has been over-engineered to death and now even has its own language: HVS, stall, dip, hitch, peak volume, pace acceleration, gaussians, lateral, blah blah.

You really only need 1-2-3, BO and screentime and the rest is crap. If you believe it's not crap then there is hope because this belief will probably get you the screentime.

If you want to be profitable take the trade when you think there is a point 3 after a BO and never let price go against you more than 3 ticks. If it goes in your way but subsequently the market does not surprise you in a very positive way then get out before the market proves you wrong (and who cares if it was pace acceleration or whatever). Anything can happen, it's people who are trading.

It's just ridiculous people need 1350+ pages to discuss this "system". One page is enough. The best decision I made is remember 1-2-3 and BO and then figure it out myself and most important don't hang around here too much. I do check this thread now and then just for fun to see in what reality people are, trying to explain things etc.

regards,
Ivo

Your'e never wrong are you Tums? Clearly there is no point in arguing with you. Leave me out of any of your future diatribes and I wont clutter up your thread. I see that you made no attempt to rebut my statements about you making stuff up. Shocker...

Bravo Ivo! Seriously, recognizing traverses is the very foundation of the method that everything builds on. Having gained the ability to see this you have achieved much. There are those however, who want to see even more and thus are required to plow through the 1350+ pages. In the end, after all the trials, I fully expect the journey and the benefits to be worth it.

Again, congrats on your achievement.:)
