Iterative Refinement

Hello,

I know I have to fan. Just wanted to show the channel of the moment of BO.

I don't share your opinion. Point 3 is at 14:15 and increasing red at the same bar + next 2 bars as well as 14:45.

regards,
Ivo

Ivob,
Got it.

Regarding increasing red volume. I thought that each bar that you mentioned, was either an Fbo/bo of lateral movement. I've marked the three bars and included the lateral movement boundaries for each bar, on my attachment.

Am I misinterpreting the condition where we have increasing volume in Non-Dominant direction?

My take is that the 14:45 bar on your chart is the point 3 up followed on the next bar with a peak volume change signal, an R2R transition and a new low ID low at 15:05.

Sorry. I completely fail to get this. If 14.45 is pt3 up then what is point 1 and point 2?

Followed by a peak volume signal? In that case we can call any breakout on increasing volume peak volume and a signal for change right?

If anything means continuation (of the new trend) then it is a breakout on increasing volume especially when there's no lateral anywhere near.

All fine, but my point is that after seeing a BO on increasing black volume on the ES I think that we should always see a point 3 up on the ES. At least according to some people this is the case and I would like to be convinced.
:D I will leave it to 'some people' to clarify, but my limited experience tells me that I don't always see a pt3 up sequence completed after the sentiment change on/after FTT. In this case you have a 'legitimate' FTT after the flaw. Increasing black followed with RTL BO. Then, the sentiment changed and the 'dominos stopped falling' the way they suppose to.

Point 1 is at 11:55 (QT time) and point 2 is at 13:10 (QT time).

The best definition I have to date for peak volume is an acceleration of the Gaussian slope manifest over 3 bars - the 14:40, :45 and :50 bars. For a traverse trader it can be applied only after a point 3 has been made.

If this is not a peak volume signal then there is a JW signal using the 14:45, :50 and :55 bars.

As an aside, the swing high at 13:40 (QT time) does not, IMO, provide a traverse trader with a change signal, nor could it.
