Drills and Breaks my friend, Drills and Breaks...
What kinds of drills?
All kinds of drills (I am partial to imagination drills)
Grab some paper (or a computer drawing program) and draw some lines which simulate price movement. Then imagine and draw what the gaussians might look like to produce those lines.
Do the reverse. Draw some gaussians and imagine what price might look like given the volume patterns drawn.
Grab some old charts and do the crayola exercise. This is a suprisingly powerful drill.
Draw channels (w/o) price and imagine how price might fill the channels then add the volume required to move price.
Study Jacks latest seeds. Add volume and see how it might affect where price would move to next.
Print out a chart and cover up the future bars and perform ADA bar-by-bar.
Stimulate your mind in varying ways related to the principles of the methodology.
Make it fun. It should be fun, not labor. When it feels like labor, that is the mind saying time for a break.
