Iterative Refinement

After we got the Aha... this is when the journey begins. [/B]
This, to me summarizes the entire Journal, so why do people feel to argue with me that much?

I'm just Trying to point out that Spyder is not a saint. Even though he probably doesn't agree with me on that one either. This journey for many is already Way over a year, for some multiples years. Just Trying to do a wake up call for some.
I've said it so many times, there's probably a few who follow this method who actually think critically for themselves. I myself got suckered in by the "Oh no, I missed that channel, I'm not doing it correct."
Were some beginner start posting his charts like MAK did last year, I do not need to tell what kind of responses this guy would receive. Responses as in "Advice". Give me a break!
Just Trying to point some things out.
Enough ranting, and babbling for me now.

Is it something like this? Like a ruleset for every situation?

My opinion is...
You can trade a Pt1-FTT... when you have mastered the toolset to recognize Continuation/Change at those points.

i.e. stay at the Forest Pt3 if you are not ready for Pt1. But when you are ready... why should there be a rule to stop you?

You are being manipulative... you deleted part of our private conversation to serve your purpose. I have highlighted red below for your reference.

Ivob says: Hi: Just a question. You mentioned you require a point 3 before you "believe" a reversal. Does this relate to entries or would you also hold a short until you have a point 3 up? Pls answer whenever you feel like. Good trading, Ivo.

TUMS says: you have a misunderstanding of what i said...
TUMS says: ;)
TUMS says: 1) I want to trade with the trend
TUMS says: 2) if I were to go countertrend, I would not pick a point one FTT... I do not have the skillset to do that yet
TUMS says: 3) to go countertrend (I use 20ma as my easy trend director).... I would wait for a point 3

Okay. So I am manipulative and you are not being selective in your quotes at all...

This:
My opinion is...

I agree with (who doesn't?) but it has nothing to do with what we were discussing. I was commenting on:
Why would you... "on very strong trending day: I will only enter on pt3 in opposite direction."

How can this be a "Rule"? This is Anti-Hershey, Anti-SCT, Anti-everything we have learned so far.
Apart from this you are assuming I leave things out to serve my purpose. Again you misunderstood me.

The reason I left that part out is that I felt it was not correct to publish it as it was kind of personal. Nothing more and nothing less and that part has nothing to do with the discussion. You already wrote: when you are ready.

So again I am asking you:
- Please tell me what is wrong with I will only enter on pt3 in opposite direction if you are not an expert trader? (and none of us is) Why is that anti Hershey?

Sheesh... This is really a non-discussion. Many people enter on point 3, even experts and even people who are ready.

regards,
Ivo

My point was... It is Anti-everything we have learned so far if you want to make a ruleset not to trade a Pt1-FTT on whatever condition other than recognizing Continuation and Change.

The keyword is ruleset.

Sheesh... This is really a non-discussion. Many people enter on point 3, even experts and even people who are ready.

Are you implying that because I suggested "non-expert" traders should stay on the Forest level, that by default I also implied that it is a shame for "expert" trader to trade Pt3?

What is your point?
