Iterative Refinement

This morning was wonderful.
The lunchtime lateral movement rather trashed my Gaussians, even at the forest level, I can see multiple versions.
The YM easily saw the entire lunch movement as a falling red gaussian but the ES was less clear.

Oh well, that's why I don't trade lunch-time... :D

Based on the first 3 bars of the 5min Es yesterday, I was anticapating an M or W day. We got anything but. Is this 3 bar volume drop off not a hard and fast rule, have I missed some context issue, or just flubbed up altogether in what was presented on this subject?

You really need to review a bunch of past charts to decide/see for yourself. A couple of us went back 2 years. For this particular day there was morning news so the low volume off the open was expected. - EZ

Got out of STAR in a hurry today. The stock was all over the place. SKX looks good. I was stopped out a few days ago but it looks like it made a nice move up. Probably could have kept my stop around the thick blue channel RTL instead of as close as it was at the time I was stopped out.

STAR - a 30 minute chart predicted the decline today, the last 3 bars were increasing red, preceeded by 2 crappy, low volume black bars. I think I read that you leave before end of the day? Might want to think of putting on a trailing stop when you leave......

I disagree about SKX. 3 days of dec black as it goes through the down RTL and approaches the up LTL. I'd look for it to stay above the down RTL, but go through a little retrace first. THEN let 'er rip.....

I have a question about the YM gate.

Is the reason the YM gate is open on the 3rd bar because the ES is at the LTL ?

I would be getting a bit nervous at this point cause my entry is at the BO of the ES lateral and a Short RTL was NOT established and confirmed by a guassian. In other words I do not know when a BO of the Short RTL occurs on the ES?

At the forest level I probably should enter at a FTT or a pt 3.

Drill 1 Bar 4

context - forest non dominant tranverse. WHY ? Because Dec Red Volume and tapey looking ( I've noticed that tapey looking channels are typically short and non dominant tranverses ).
ACTION - HOLD SHORT
WMCN - ES and YM -
lateral on dec red PRV or
dec green PRV and a pt 3
WMNOTCM - ES and YM - BO on INC GREEN PRV.
REVERSE LONG ON BO
OBSERVATION IBG on ES
