Iterative Refinement

Sorry Avi 8. I personally doubt that you have always the correct answers to your leading questions. By posting your answer in an attachment you'd offer Spydertrader and others the opportunity to correct you, for everybody's benefit.

I do provide answers, but why must I provide them without the opportunity to critically think about the questions? For me the thinking helps the answers 'stick', instead of having to hear or read the answers over and over.

Quote from Spydertrader:

Think.

What changes must take place between the point in time between when you know (with 100% certainty) that price shows continuation down and the point in time where you know (with 100% certainty) that you now have (or had in the past - however many bars it takes to recognize it) an FTT. The sequences between then and now represent the 'dominos.'

You KNOW that price shows continuation down if volume is increasing and price is heading down with it.

You KNOW that you have(had) an ftt after price retraces the channel on decreasing volume and breaks the RTL on increasing volume. Is this the extent of the dominos? There are other things that COULD happen (flaws/formations/etc) but nothing I can think of that MUST happen to confirm the sequence.

Quote from Spydertrader:

What differences exist between the sequences which represent 'right side' of the market compared to those which represent 'wrong side' of the market.

Wrong side = Youre short and price is moving up on increasing volume or down on decreasing volume

Right side = Youre short and price is moving down on increasing volume or up on decreasing volume

Am I on the right track?

You described the market events surrounding when you know the market signals continuation and when you 'see' the market has signaled change. Now, what happens in between these points in time. Here, you'll find the dominos.
