I see both 'M' and 'W' on Friday. Of course, the 'M' appears somewhat intoxicated - leaning a bit to the right. 'Normal' days, which provide the clear 'M' or 'W' signs, don't often have a 40 ES Point trend smack in the midle of the day. :D

That might be a "contextual" component no doubt a consequence of the smart$ selling off early so as to be able to spend an even longer weekend with their yachts, mistresses, bags of money, etc. Thanks for the deconvolution.

Hey ljyoung,
Spyder gave me the same advice and I went and reviewed every chart he annotated for a year. I had seen the answer and even posted it, at least I thought so till the final reply came in. I realized I was only seeing one side of the coin. I was so sure I had the answer and then that simple reply made me say . . .
ahaaaaa! I had seen decreasing volume on the open, but didn't realize there was another side to decreasing volume. Same coin, different face when flipped.
I am very glad I was not handed the answer right away. I had learned a great deal from opening my eyes ( mind ) to what is right in front of me.

If a market appears somewhat 'foggy' resulting in a trader's inability to clearly 'see' the signals provided, one need only drop down a fractal to obtain clarity. If on a daily fractal, try looking at an hourly. It appears as if the Intra-Bar Gaussian shifts cause you some difficulty. At a lower fractal, those same 'murky' areas now become clear as the light of day.

Spyder if you get down to some stock's lower fractals.... do all the rules still stay in place or does there eventually become insufficient liquidity to successfully trade the method. I know Haroki has mentioned he makes daytrades off the 5 min fractal on stocks but I fear that the liquidity is so thin on these levels that the noise will have my head spinning?

My understanding of what your saying is that each daily volume bar/Guassian line can be understood much more clearly on lower fractals particularly the hourly or 30 min charts? Is this assumption correct?
 
Per Callmate's request here is my chart, I redrew the TL's (only the basics as you can see) but I imposed my trades on it. Each trade has it's own color arrows so for example; the short entry at 10:02 and its superlative exit at 10:05 are both in yellow. FWIW :p
