Iterative Refinement

Got into BPHX on LBDU signal today but have many questions.

1. Why is the light blue channel in my chart not the correct channel as it seems it could be a valid channel according to points 1 2 3 and guassians line up too. My understanding was that once a channel is in place it should be followed. The dark blue channel makes sense to but this would result from a break of the RTL of the light blue channel which confuses me. Basically which is right and why in terms of channels and guassians

2. I started using Quotetracker today and the column average volume is supposed to be 65 day or 60 day as I have read but when I compare it to Yahoo Key Statistics 3 month avg volume it is much lower in many cases. Can anyone explain why there might be a discrepancy with these two values. Which is correct?

Thanks. Comments appreciated.

Testing New Charting Software. All annotations (arrows, highlights, etc.) from within the Charting Software.
I hope this isn't a 'flaw' in the new software but, I do not see one 'FTT' annotation. :D

Spyder,

I'm very interested in knowing more about the new software you mentioned. So if you care to tell, I (and assume many others) are eagarly listening :)

Here's my BPHX chart for comparison. To me, your gaussians looks a bit off. Remember, they have to fit your channels 100%

Yea I understand but how do you know at the point 3 of the light blue channel in my chart that it is not the actual channel yet. Was the channel established before that point or does the channel not establish til after that point(basically where the dark blue channel becomes evident)

For anyone still interested in the 'M' or 'W' Day puzzle, watch Volume during the day's opening three bars. If the market signals Volume 'drop off' at the Open, watch the 'M' or 'W' form throughout the day.

If volume doesn't 'drop off' at the Open like today. Wat does that mean?

Ivo

Nope. No software 'flaw' here. Just a lazy a$$ user who didn't bother to annotate correctly. :D :D
