Iterative Refinement

As has been requested many, many times please keep all software specific related discussions in the thread set up for that in the Software Forum:
Software Used to Trade Jack Hershey Methods

And a special thanks to Tums for setting up that thread to consolidate the discussions, making software facts and particulars much easier to find.

spydertrader,
I had a question about todays price movement. Specifically the red down channel, that started at 10:45 (close of bar). At 11:15 (close of bar) it appeared to me that we had a completed Point Three traverse sequence. The next bar was a volatility expansion and showed a Jokari Window, traverse level signal for change.
What am I missing, or what clues were there, that would explain the lateral and sped up down traverse that followed, rather than a price reversal?

Thanks,
Phineas

Mr Black,

Not quite sure if I understand your model and diagram label DOM. Here is how I interpretted your diagram on the bottom right hand corner ( the diagram that has time in the feedback loop ):

The future price is determined by information from the past (inputs ie. inbalance of seller and buyers ) and the inbalance translates into now information ( volume and price ). There's a feedback loop that uses the current now information combined with the current balance of buyers and sellers that will determine the current price. The future price movement ( trend and channel projection ) is used along with past
information and is reflected in the current price and the cycle keeps repeating in a continuous fashion.

PAST = DEPTH OF MARKET
NOW = Time and Sales date
FUTURE = TREND/CHANNEL PROJECTION
TIME = FEEDBACK LOOP

Am I close in my understanding ?

Of particular interest is your use of Time in the feedback loop.

Any elaborations would be appreciated.
Nobody can predict future but future can be only continuation of past>now data set or change

The answer you seek resides within the Gaussians.

Future is coming to Now and Now is going to Past

Thanks Mr_Black for your charts and diagrams. Well organized. By the way, if anybody is interested, I can post my DAX charts. I do not have any access to volume, hence I use the volatility as proxy.

PS: Spydertrader,your charts cleared up my confusion. Thank you.
