trying to understand why so many followers of this system have not become millionaires yet? I see the same people and the same posts all the time. I think you guys should realize that there is no 1+1 = 2 in the markets no matter what you trade or no matter what system that is why it is always evolving.. but you guys nit pick every little thing that fits inor deosn't fit into this hershey system. I like the idea of trend trading and chart patterns and channels. I like a lot of what hershey says and kudos to spyder for trying to help.. but serioulsy if you guys look at bollinger bands it might really help you see the forest and trees etc.. without all the fancy jargon and mind boggling charts! Keep it simple stupid and you might just make a little money trading. Anyway I hope you all trade profitably using whatever set up you like. How is is that this many peopel have been trying this strategy for so many years and are still failing and questioning.. some time sthere is no answer. A hedge fund reently hire 90 PHD's yes 90 !!! All that brain power.. all the moeny spent on salaries etc.. be smart people if this worked so well then don't you think funds would reduce teh work force and just trade the hershey method.. anyway I hope this jolts some of you into opening your eyes to understanding that sometimes market moves just cannot be explained.. none of this fits into a perfect distibution .. or gaussian etc. good luck
Probably, the same reason someone studying to be an attorney doesn't argue cases before the Supreme Court after 18 months of Law School.
Probably, the same reason a student of medicine doesn't practice Neuro-Surgery after 18 months in Med School.
Probably, the same reason The U.S. Military doesn't promote a private to the rank of Supreme Allied Commander after 18 months in uniform.
Thank-you for your concern over everyone's well-being. I have no doubt, after reading your post, that icarus, Tums, Callmate, Mr. Black, Mak, easyrider, Jack bi9foot, ehorn, ivob, PointOne, Atari, Avi8, ticktrade, tikitrader, Haroki, cnms2, mischief, mlsignups, vorzo, myself (and a host of others who's names I apologetically omitted) now plan to rush right out and send the money they have made back - now that you've opened their eyes to reality.

Thanks for the reply... i never looked at it that way. I agree with you that it takes time learn a "trade" or skill set, and i know this is not the place to get into a debate, but I must say that if you become a lawyer or physician you are pretty much guaranteed a very nice living whereas with the market you never really know. Thanks again for your response, and it was not my intent to belittel those who study your methods.. I have also looked at your stuff and think at certain times it has great merit. Thanks again and sorry If I offended anyone.

My best single day to date was a net of 1.7 million dollars. it involved 11 accounts most of which I traded for the benfit of others who contribute time (weekly) to the benfit of others who are in need and some handicapped people in a family that takes care of it's own. My best beginner for six months averaged 11.1% on trades of 6.6 days average duration.
Some things just don't change and some things probably improved.

Hi Mr Black,
It's very interesting to see your actions in the charts. Thank you. I am surprised by the short holding times (with some exceptions). Is it that you require increasing volume in your direction the very next bar or else exit? Apparently you don't give price a chance to go against you.
