Iterative Refinement

Quote from Spydertrader:

Because it isn't a Traverse. The Pink Point Three Represents the first Down Traverse in the chart you posted.

This answer gave me a nudge to move forward. On the other hand the only one explanation I can come up with resides in (in my opinion subjective) different angles between the first traverse and the mentioned tape. I hope, I'm wrong.

why that bar was a reversal bar for a traverse trader.

True there are times with similar developments we hold, but are these times also at the conclusion of a sequence like yesterday was?

The second blue-colored query addresses your point, IMO.

As one traverse ends another one begins in the opposite direction. As it begins it starts with a tape. The tapes take price to pt2 of the traverse, then to pt3 and back to into traverse.

Romanus,

I understand the onion (fractal) structure (nature) of the markets. Nevertheless, thanks for your efforts. I got confused comparing two following charts and trying to differentiate between tapes and traverses as they are forming real time.

This one:

And this one:

To grasp the difference would be an AHA for me. Compare the first traverses and the behaviour of the market afterwards.

No it doesn't.

First, Bar seven does not show peak volume.

Second, I have already provided the answer to this question.

Third, The GuavaMan wasn't asking you a question which required you to respond to him. Guava attempted to guide you in a direction with his interrogatory.

I wonder if following the directions I provided (drilling through 20 - 60 charts) might assist your discovery process.
