Iterative Refinement

Hey romanus. If you're kickin' around out there, would you agree that as long as there is a sliver of blue sky between the top (for a long) of a bar which is being considered as a possible FTT and the LTL towards which it had been moving, then it can continue to be considered as a possible FTT even if the 'sliver' is less than 1 tick?

Clearly there are some 'artistic constraints' [software limitations and user sloppiness] but we'll ignore those and for the purposes of discussion presume that the software is non-limiting and the user is a meticulous graphics designer.

The reason I believe this is so is that when you push through the LTL to creat a VE, the expansion is not infrequently less than a tick.

I believe the issue at hand is that of basic geometry. If the attached doesn't answer your question, let me know.
