Did you hear about the 21 year old Italian girl who knelt in front of the statue of Madonna?
She said: "You who conceived without sin, let me sin without conceiving!"

Quote from deadbroke:

A Italian man walking along a New Jersey beach was deep in prayer. All of a sudden he said out loud, "God, grant me one wish." Suddenly the sky clouded above his head and in a booming voice the God said, "Because you have had the faith to ask, I will grant you one wish." The man said, "Build a bridge to Italy, so I can drive over anytime I want to."

God said, "Your request is very materialistic. Think of the logistics of that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the ocean! The concrete and steel it would take! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of another wish, a wish you think would honor and glorify me."

The Italian man thought about it for a long time. Finally he said, "God, I have been married and divorced four times. All of my wives said that I am uncaring and insensitive. Here is my wish: I would like to know how to make an Italian woman happy.

After a few minutes God said, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"

LOL! :D

Quote from S2007S:

No need to worry, by Friday or next Monday the latest a bailout will happen, even thought they brushed off any thought of it happening because they are just too big to bailout they will have some new way of bailout out Italy, so just continue to buy all dips because as everyone says the santa clause rally will push the SPX back above 1350 on the year....
Any analytical reason based on that? I hate people bluffing or sayting whatever they want to say on the internent without foundation?

One day markets down because of problems in Europe, next day markets up because they are coming up with a solution to fix the problem, lets keep in mind that this crisis is so great that there isnt a fix for it, all they are doing is patching up the problems. They may think they are fixing it, but they are far from it. Only fools believe that they are going to fix this crisis here and around the world, Not going to happen. This crisis will be here for the next decade or more.

Quote from spanish89:

Market smashed through 7% yield,
is now at 7.25% just 10minutes after breaking through 7%,
who else thinks the trend-chasers can drag this to 8% by the end of the week?? :D

Ive been holding my S&P short for about 2weeks now,
not willing to cash it in until i see blood in the streets!

The referendum saga was nice, but wasn't causing true panic and terror to investors,
however if Italt hits 8% i see there being some real blood in the streets!! :D  :p
ok, it's almost the end of the week

Still holding that SPX short ??? I don't remember a point where someone of your radical views would ever have closed their position.

Another classic Elite Trader thread where the doomsday predictors overreact to everything in the news.
