exponential MA's 180/200 on 240 tick usually.. what I use.

look how much 'noise' is in the price tick/action, the MA's filter the noise, so you maintain bias on the correct side.

even with the morning spike, the lines didn't flip.

No. The name of this thread is "It Starts". What starts? You claimed a whirlwind of vol. I don't see any vol unless getting crushed is what you meant. You said people were shaking. From what, paying taxes on all the money they are making being long? I didn't start this thread, you did.
