I had a large tree in my back many years ago that curved out over the yard. About 2' in diameter at the base. So I decide to shimmy up there with a chain saw. I was actually sitting on top of the tree, it was bent over so much. Once I cut a large section off, the tree sprung backward with the load off and I almost got thrown off backwards. I was 20' up. Grabbed hold of the trunk in the nick of time. Lesson learned.
