Fiat/Crypto arguments remind me a lot when Amazon tried to push intangible books with their e-readers.

There was much pushback on hard-books vs digital-books. And.... decades later, we still have people arguing about it. True, most cryptos suck and just waste your wealth, just like most digital books suck and self-published crap just wastes your time reading it.

But digital money/books is here to stay, regardless of the downsides.

Quite like this analogy. I had forgotten the upset when Amazon did this.
