It is the sun stupid! The sun drive climate.

Bio of Dr. Evans:

David Evans is an electrical engineer and mathematician, who earned six university degrees in mathematics and electrical engineering over ten years, including a PhD from Stanford University in electrical engineering (digital signal processing): PhD. (E.E), M.S. (E.E.), M.S. (Stats) from Stanford University, B.E. (Hons, University Medal), M.A. (Applied Math), B.Sc. from the University of Sydney. He is an expert in Fourier analysis and signal processing, and trained with Professor Ronald Bracewell late of Stanford University.

Notably, David consulted full-time for the Australian Greenhouse Office from 1999 to 2005, and part-time for the Department of Climate Change from 2008 to 2010, and was the lead modeler in developing FullCAM, the world-leading carbon accounting model that Australia uses for analyzing the carbon in Australia's biosphere for the Kyoto Protocol.

why? all the studies that have been published show co2 levels trail changes in ocean temps and changes in air temps.

there is no science showing man made co2 creates warming.

is it so hard to understand the ocean warms and then the atmosphere can hold more co2 and then when the oceans cool it can hold less. sort of like water vapor.

is it not possible possible that water vapor and clouds are tied to the sun and that clouds and water vapor influence temperature far more than co2

there is tons of peer reviewed science showing that temperature is tied to changes in the sun and changes in the tides and the oceans....

there is no science showing man made co2 creates warming. maybe someday there will be.

Again, nobody is saying that sun or other factors don't cause warming, what they are saying is that there are changes in temperature far more than what's accounted by these natural factors, the chart on this very thread proves that. So now the argument is that it's a lag, how do we know it's a lag or a permanent deviation given greenhouse gas effect really took off in the last 50 years.

Well, here is another model that you can review with the excel.

You can read all about it here: http://sciencespeak.com/climate-nd-solar.html

The model, data, code and calculations are here: Climate.xlsm (20Mb).
