Yeah man, I'm pushing those refrigerants on Mrs Smith so she can get her fix of heating and air conditioning. She's become so addicted to heat and AC.

And yes, they need to, once again, come up with better refrigerants that pollute less. I recover all of mine and repair all leaks. Not that saying that matters to you.
OK good. Now if the surface and lower atmosphere temperatures move in the same direction what's the problem with using satellite temperature measurement to follow changes in the Earths temperature. We don't care if surface and lower atmosphere are the same. Right? We only want to know if the temperature is going up, staying the same, or going down. Right? (Why do I have the impression I am communicating with an HVAC guy here and not a scientist?)Well that's interesting. But every publishing climate scientist, science org, oil company, The Weather Channel, etc say that you are wrong. No expert anywhere in the world agrees with you. How does that make you feel? It should make you feel foolish, which is no crime. But denial of the science of AGW will cause death and destruction, which IS a crime.
Yes, an HVAC guy with a degree in Env Sci and who is far better educated (obviously) in this area than you are.
Satellite temps do not show surface temps and are not going up as fast so are often used by climate misinformers (liars). If you need me to explain to you why the higher altitudes measured by the satellites is not going up as fast, let me know. I know that your prior career dealt with a very narrow area of expertise.

It doesn't bother me at all because I, unlike you apparently, understand what is happening.
So you do not know why the higher altitudes are not warming as fast as the lower is what you are admitting. That's good to admit that you do not know everything. None of us do.
It has to do with CO2 and it's absorbtive properties at certain wavelengths. To make it simple for you, the same blanket that is makng the lower troposphere hotter is making the stratosphere cooler because the heat is not escaping into it. At a certain altitude this divergence cancels each other out and the net is that there is no change in temps during the last hundred years or so.
But that you also seem to think that a two year time period is significant is more troubling. This show a shocking lack of comprehension of what climate is.
