A trillion dollar coin would be no different than Lincoln printing greenbacks. It would undermine the system we have had in place since the implementation of the Federal Reserve.

I mean seriously. In order to preserve US solvency.... let's mint a one-trillion-dollar coin and deposit it.

This kind of stuff has been trotted out multiple times over the last decade. It's just clickbait in the same way the "debt ceiling" stuff is just political theater.
