The Fed will keep going until hyperinflation destroys the currency. They haven't quantitatively tightened anything.

Within 6 months, they will be decreasing rates.

I will not trade against the Fed though, just saying that they will not be able to take the pain.

The Fed doesn't give a shit about the markets any more. The only thing that will save the markets, like in March/April 2020, are the circuit breakers. The Fed will no longer be at their backs. Remember, the Fed can no longer trade stocks. So they no longer give a shit about the markets.

The Fed will never have the guts to do what is necessary, only what kicks the can further down the road. So look for them to look for a lowered CPI (hey oil prices) as a reason.

I disagree. The Fed, through Powell, now finally have the guts to do what is necessary because he is no longer intimidated by Frump. Full-bore, fuck the world, let's get it under control. Interest rates go zing!
