Israel doesn't care about Lebanon, they only care about Hezbollah and this is as good a time to teach that terror group a lesson.WHY is Lebanon getting involved?? It's not its war this time. I don't get it. Can someone explain it to me?
"The Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon[a] formally began in 1985 and ended in 2000 as part of the South Lebanon conflict."
The Israeli complete withdrawal to the internationally recognized border took place on 24 May 2000.

Israel got itself out of Lebanon's face in 2000, TWENTY-FOUR years ago, that's a quarter of a century ago. Boy some people can really hold a grudge.

I don't think other countries will step in directly and risk direct confrontation with the US and Europe. Iran's Shiite Mullahs aren't crazy enough to risk losing their stranglehold on their country.
The challenge will be to disrupt arms supplies to the dozen or so terrorist groups in the Middle East who will join the fight with Hezbollah.
Let's remember though that Sunni Arabs will be happy to see Hezbollah and other Shiite terror groups fall under Israeli fire.

Putting Mandela and the ANC on equal footing with Nasrallah and Hezbollah is relativism taken a few steps beyond my values.Nelson Mandela and the ANC were ruthless terrorists....until they won the battle.
Now he is as celebrated as Gandhi.
Probably a reminder to keep your own counsel on most issues until all is revealed.
