Some might compare this to the infamous Jan. 6 "insurrection". Acts of violence, arrests, illegal entry. Somebody has to say it.
This right here should show you how serious our national security assessment of this situation is:
I agree completely. They cannot win the PR war and the PR would will influence policy, like it or not. There is no clean way to fight this war or any war. There will be collateral damage, dead civilians and kids. If they go scorched earth to try and eliminate Hamas the collateral damage will be massive. If they go in with special ops and limited troops it'll take forever, their own casualties will be quite large, few if any prisoners will be rescued, and they'll still be taking the PR hit. When the current hostilities finally ease up, a unsustainable "peace" will begin and everyone will regroup until the next assualt is launched. This whole hospital thing has made one thing quite clear, to me at least. Right or wrong, in the current environment, Israel is one or two missiles hitting the wrong place away from losing whatever popular (public) support it currently enjoys. That's not a good place to be for them unfortunately. And of course the rest of the world will hate America all that much more too. Not good.
