Hamas has drones, portable manpads, rockets, Iranian FAJR missiles with a range of 75 kilometers, etc. Some has suggested that Afghanistan and Ukraine could be the source of a lot of the weapons, and probably, arms smugglers too. It turns out Hamas destroyed 4 Israel high tech observation towers by dropping drones with explosives on them. Enough to totally, disable them. Looks like Hamas learning a lot about the Ukraine war. Thank Joe Biden for that education.

Fact is that Hamas is now chambered in 5.56 and 7.62 all apparently left behind in Afghanistan. None of them are carrying AKs.

Don't get me wrong here. I think you are pretty accurate when you write about the current military situation and what is happening on the ground. I'm just pointing out that the equipment is western and that is a big change from all previous incursions. It seems pretty clear where all those guns came from.
