Yes. There’s really no other option. Israel is amassing troops as we speak for a proper invasion but as of right now there are still rockets raining down all over Israel.

As to the intelligence failure, it was. But that is no excuse for the murders and terrorism in the first place.

Nonsense. The Israelis are not bombing randoms but there is and will be civilian casualties. However disrupting Hamas leadership is critically important right now. You know to at least slow down Hamas’s terrorist ambitions.

As to waiting for the troops. No on that too. Absolutely have to set the battlefield. In case you haven’t heard, there is a war going on there.
