It may be you. Way to take an extremely complicated situation and derive a black & white conclusion from it. Surely Israel's settlement policies and compartmentalization of Palestinian land has created a warm environment for peace negotiation. If you think an issue like this can smolder for so long without both parties contributing to the problem, maybe you need to invest more time into the subject.
And why is there little to no discussion of who first broke the 6 month ceasefire initiated back in June 08? It is my understanding that Israel was the first to break it back in Nov while we were distracted by our presidential elections. Reminds me of the US media interpretation of Georgia-South Ossetia-Russian conflict. Everyone was pointing at the Russians, but when the dust settled and facts came in, the vast majority of blame fell on Georgian forces who first initiated excessive heavy artillery shelling on S. Ossetia.
