Another insanely absurd article from Z. H.! with another absurd Headline. Adjustment of Reserve balances, a common Central Bank action, has become, in ZH lingo, a 'Dumping of Dollars'. What happened to the Euros? I guess they were not "dumped" but just delicately shoveled over to the Bank of China's Euro Reserve account.

Durden's prediction "...that China and Russia would grow far closer economically" really made me laugh. If I generously leave out the word "far" which probably makes the prediction wrong, I will still insist on being as kind as possible when calling on sarcasm to describe Durden's prediction as "not quite reaching genius level."

And the bit about "...creating, in essence, a second global monetary system where the US dollar is no longer the reserve currency" left me speechless but fortunately still able to type. So there is going to be another "Global Monetary System" based on the Ruble and the Renminbi? Oh really! I'm checking my couch now for loose change that, following the Bank of Israel's lead, I can dump in the trash.

The massive debt, the massive printing, the rising interest rates, the debt servicing, the very problematic supply sourcing from (non friendly nations) and limited oil and gas supplies which will keep inflation very high longer than US can hold out.
