Isn't It Amazing?

How much the world markets jump or tank based upon the remarks of some self-serving Chinese government gum-flapper?

All the more reason to adhere to Technical Analysis... despite the discipline's detractors.

What's funny is that the charts showed that a major decline was coming a month before it actually happened. Nope...not hindsight analysis. I actually wrote an article calling it in July, basing my call only on the technical position of the market.

There was indication that a "decline was brewing". Easy to not catch it, as the market has amazing resiliency about "ignoring negatives" up to a point.

My thing was...the equity indexes were at their resistance levels and showed that they were about to turn down. I thought the fall would be only to support but once I saw support get taken out, I knew that it was gonna be worse than I initially expected.

This is one of those moments in which there is no clear direction. It could go either way at this point. Short-term, I'd be bullish.

One might say that price is consolidating into a asym triangle.. A continuation pattern.. Trading in a tighter and tighter range.. pointing right to a fed meeting haha

China has developed a new economic model for the world to follow. You just raise massive amounts of debt then you buy the entire stock market . Now I am not really sure once they own the entire market what they do next.

It's not Uganda...it's China -- they are pretty significant.
No one should be purely pro-TA or Fundamental or anything else. it's not like its politics or a sports match...where you have to choose a side.

The markets are part art, part science. part rumors, part facts.
Anyways, May the Farce be With you
