This is where I have to step on my "own kind" - other Christians. Look at the number of Christians in America! 250M people out of 308M total population considered themselves Christians. I find that number a little high, but being an optimist, and Christian, like to believe 3/4 of the country is Christian, but I'm also a realist... None the less, with the above numbers, WHY ARE WE PUTTING UP WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF LUNATICS HELLBENT ON DESTROYING AMERICA, AND HIDING OUR HEADS IN THE SAND???? WHY????????!!!??

That's how he "adds value". He'll make a rather off-the-wall comment on a particular topic to further a narrative, and when questioned on it, he'll immediately obfuscate his response - never actually clarifying what he meant to say (if it was indeed different than was originally taken), but instead trying to make you think it's your fault for the misunderstanding. This buys him time to either put the responsibility on you to make the conversation continue, or even better, perhaps it'll never get a reply and he won't have to deal with it.

Of course, normal people who have socialization skills don't behave like this in the real world, they just say "no, what I meant was..." and the misunderstanding is overcome. But then, dbphoenix only "socializes" on the internet, so you have to understand he's working with a handicap.
