correct. And the daughter was killed in the name of Islam. In other words, it is a duty to commit cold-blooded murder based on your own interpretation of the Koran (without trial or evidence gathering). The other man was psycho.

Yes there are open minded Muslims But notice what happens when the father decides to murder his daughter.

A Kurdish girl was thought to have had sex with someone. Her whole village stoned her.

Recently, when someone was convicted of trying to convert to something besides Islam, pretty much Muslims everywhere agreed. Even moderates and their leaders.

They are about the only religion fighting against most other major religions - Judaiasm, Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, communism, secularism, etc.

The open-mindedness goes out the window rather quickly when it matters.

Not pointless. Both terrible crimes. One was committed becasue of crazy religious beliefs, then was backed by the police who also have those crazy religious beliefs. No one tried to hide the crime..some others jumped in to help kill the girl. It was acceptable and the right thing to do in their twisted minds. The other was committed by a man for selfish reasons, and he took great care to hide his crime becasue he knew it was unacceptable, illegal and wrong.
