This statement makes me wanna' puke. This is not what we need to be saying. I want to see Obama look square into the camera and say, we're going to hunt your asses down and kill every god damn one of you.
I'm also tired if seeing our tepid air power response to all of this. Everyday we see another million dollar missile obliterating a pick up truck. Yawn! I want to see some serious fire power being used. Death and destruction on a wide scale. Mr. President, can you for once in your life act like something other than a lawyer prosecuting some guy for having too many traffic tickets. Grow a pair.
 
yeah, that's exactly what Bin Laden said. Only problem is, they don't have any tall buildings and we don't have any suicide pilots. And most Americans frown on killing innocent women and children. If ISIS would just congregate in a concentrated area, we could drop a bomb on them. But these moslem terrorists are acting just like the Viet Cong did. Like the man said, "Ask them if they are the enemy, and if they say yes, shoot them."

well, back in the good old days of Dresden, Nagasaki, and Hiroshima, we didn't care much who we killed. A moslem man considers his wife his possession. And war means destroying you and your possessions.

I go both ways. If you allow your government to piss off the United States, you run the risk of being killed just like you were a soldier.

But then again, I don't really like the idea of 3,000 people who were just going to work to be killed when their building collapsed, just because someone was pissed off at the U.S. military.

Actually it had less to do with being pissed off at the US military than with being pissed off at US interference with their countries, in which we would have had no interest had it not been for their oil.

Then of course there is the issue of just how much influence the common people there have influence over their governments, which appears to be next to none. Sort of like us and ours.

yes, really that is the problem. Are the people responsible for their government? Or is the government some kind of criminal organization that needs to be destroyed?

An informed people? Yes. An uninformed people? No more so than the scorpion is responsible for stinging the fox.
