They are completely useless. For them to be useful, they should at least explain why the sky didn't fall everytime they said it would fall. In 2013, they called the end of the China debt bubble. Runs to get cash from the ATM. Wealth management products maturing and no way to refinance them. It was a certainty they said. Then absolute silence for 6 years. No explaination on how the system is "rigged" even.

I used to read ZH during the financial crisis years. There were surely some informative news stories that they broke earlier than the MSM. However, between the financial crisis and now, the site has devolved into a right-wing, conspiracy-theorist, antisemitic, racist, homophobic, hate-speech cesspool. I don't go there anymore.
