The government is the problem. We need to get rid of as much of it as we can.

Uncontrolled governmental growth based on hiring as many voters as you can will be the ultimate downfall of democracy.

Our government has failed us miserably over the last 50 years. Our system is designed to elected the people who want to give away the most shit to the most undeserving.

Get rid of government and we will be better off.

You would be suprised what an 2 extra trillion dollars for people to spend will do for a society.

The problem in America is too many of our children are pursuing fluff jobs and wasting time studying things that have no productive value.

Our kids want to be hollywood stars, pro football players, and cheerleaders. Some go into business to learn how to steal professionally. Look at our corporate culture, its all about stealing wealth from the masses.

And thus income disparities will continue, the vast majority of America will become dependent on the very few to remodel their houses and spend on things, to trickle down wealth to the masses.

The technological upperhand we enjoyed all these years is being eroded away by even brighter minds in Russia/China/India. If you think we lead in technological prowess now, wait 10 years and ask the same question. These nations will use the new wealth to revamp their defensive and offensive capabilities and will be beholden to none.

The greatest threat to humanity isn't a nuclear showdown, its a biological one. All it takes is one man, with biotech/nanotech background to destroy all of humanity. The human genome has been decoded, and racial traits can be targeted similar to smart weapons, the racial traits can be targeted by binary viruses.

The power structure that has shaped the world to what it is now, can be destroyed in a short period of time. The viral breakouts, that you see creating momentary panics are just for statistical research purposes to study patterns of spread and kinetics.

So will America survive in a world where they can't compete? Right now we are surviving because we are holding the gun to the rest of the world. Thats why our defense expenditures are through the roof. But when those defensive capabilities are exceeded by 'soft' defense outlays, where capital intensive research is not needed. Then the animosities built up over the years against America will come back to hurt us and possibly most of humanity.

USA is known as the country where thousands of immigrants from around the world became rich, some extremely wealthy. I want to know if an immigrant can get wealth in these "other countries" that try to compete at this point in time with USA.

Good article in Newsmax about "bastion of socialism" Sweden trying hard to turn right. France voted right. Germany, France,Sweden, GB trying to privatize (at least partially) their "top-notch" health care systems. That's what's not sustainable. Why? Compare Sweden,Ireland from 30 years ago and now.
Maybe it's just corporate propaganda.
