Is Trump running for re-election to stay out of prison?

We'll smell the fallout some time after Trump loses.

And do you actually expect that those who fear crossing Trump would publicly admit to it? Their career would be over even sooner, and on multiple grounds. Come on. Meanwhile, there is a groundswell of recognized and reputable journalists who have reported on this fear.

Please don't talk to me about "reputable" journalism. Most of the press has sold their soul a long, long time ago.

As for those who fear crossing Trump, I don't believe they fear Trump - just what the voter base would do to them. Exactly why the democrats who are more mainstream won't denounce all those I mentioned. Same exact thing.

Trump is reportedly telling advisers if he loses, he expects intense scrutiny from prosecutors

President Trump is confident in his chances of winning Tuesday's election, several aides and allies told The New York Times, because he is being buoyed by the crowds at his rallies and assured by people close to him that he will win the Electoral College.

Still, Trump has shown concern over what will happen to him if he loses, several advisers told the Times, and he expects prosecutors will take a closer look at his business dealings; there are already established investigations into the Trump Organization in New York.

Most of the more than a dozen allies and aides interviewed by the Times said they do believe he will win re-election, but the stars must align in certain areas; for example, the president must pull ahead in Minnesota, Michigan, or Wisconsin, all states where he is trailing behind Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in the polls.

His advisers are being sure to deliver only favorable polls to Trump, the Times reports, with the lower numbers being filtered out. Trump did receive some pushback when he suggested trying to win in solidly blue states like New Mexico, but not from White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows; the Times reports he responded to the idea with "chipper enthusiasm."

Trump hasn't had a strong closing message, and has been straying from his prepared remarks; on Saturday, he was set to deliver a serious address to a crowd in Pennsylvania, but in the middle of it he began talking about the size of Biden's sunglasses. While his aides have cut him slack, some Republican lawmakers are surprised by Trump's actions on the campaign trail; one high-ranking GOP member of Congress told the Times he said to Meadows that if Trump is "trying to lose the election, I can't think of anything I'd tell him to do differently."

Link to a LEGITIMATE news source? I cede the point! Bastard!

I see Joe as corrupt by association. Joe’s relationship with defense contractors and Obama combined with his 47 year career in politics as well as his son’s multiple character weaknesses suggests the Biden household was more about personal gratification than about maintaining character. Long gone were idealistic notions we often see in new politicans, in my opinion. As a reminder, the Obama Administration was corrupt. Look at the long list of criminal conduct on wikipedia.org. Further, the Obamacare website cost over $1 billion in taxpayer funds which was payed to a Canadian firm. There’s Solyndra and Rezco. There is also good chance Obama was a beneficiary of influence peddling leading up to his Senate run in Illinois.

To Biden’s credit, he has said several things about his agenda that he had to know would result in a net loss of votes, which is suggestive of honesty, at least to a degree.

Marvelous. Is that not insight enough into the man?

It certainly could be insight into the man at the time and may suggest financial desperation. However, in some cases, those who have done bad things can mend their ways. This is why criminal sentences are usually for defined periods shorter than one’s lifetime. This is why Christianity has the concept of forgiveness.

Evidence that Trump had reached higher ground from his university scam days include a couple honest disclosures while he ran during the 2016 Presidental Election. Trump publically admitted to using US bankruptsy laws several times to his benefit and that he paid off politicians, getting a “Great deal” in the process. The reality is, if you want to get a construction project done in a reasonable period of time in major city, especially New York City, you are going to have to “Grease the wheels of commerce”. Trump speaks from authority when he discusses The Swamp. So I’ve given you more support that Trump is a Swampster himself, but in my opinion, it is a matter of degree and purpose. Trump makes most of his money building things, creating jobs, and bringing in tax revenues that includes more than income taxes. Too many politicians are on the take for simply getting out of the way of the productive.

Those in business and the military have to be efficient; those in government usually do not, because the often ambiguousness of performace standards and relative impact of accountability on continued employment.

With both Presidental candidates flawed, I’ll place my confidence on the one who is likely to be the most productive and efficient. There are more specific reasons to support Trump than listed in this post, but as you know, I have listed them in other posts.

yeah ... talking about tolerance. trump would like to KILL anybody who does not share his opinion. this is not about tolerance. this is about freedom, democracy, free press, rule of law, etc. trump hates all of these things and so do his followers, i believe. TOLERANCE? voting for trump is stupidity - most of all. because if you have a brain and use it, you simply cannot vote for someone like him. FACT!

Does Hillary’s “Basket of deplorables” comment, covering 60 million voters suggestive of tolerance to you on the Democrat side?

Trump’s signing off on big Federal budgets that included spending increases in social programs that benefitted a wide range of US citizens and perhaps others, is suggestive of intolerance to you?

Open your eye, please.

the fact that trump is fascinated by all sorts of dictators is well documented by now. if you are an adult and are allowed to vote in the usa but do not know this and other facts, then maybe you should learn a LOT of things before you go and vote and before you come here and defend him and all the bullshit he did in the last years. simply unbelievable ...

if people like you just vote for him because of taxes, because of weapons, because you find him somehow entertaining or whatever, ... shame on you for your ignorance!!!

Turn off the TV and open some books. You have no idea how much you are sounding like a CNN parrot(This is not a compliment).
