I didn't come up with the conclusion that the average Trump voter is hopelessly uninformed. You need only to look around you to see for yourself. Just look at all of the legitimate reporting of facts. Biden "stole" the election? Qanon?! White supremacists? And well-meaning idiots. The man is a fucking fool. Who votes for a fucking fool, Tsing? Explain that one to me.

I watched last night a documentary about the rise of Adolf Hitler and how his dark charisma plus devotees (e.g. Goebbels, Goring, Himmler, Hess, Speer and Donitz) gave rise to Nazism.

It was a scary documentary to continue watching because I saw many similarities with Donald Trump and some of his top devotees and groups. :(:(:(

Weird to see so much propaganda, misinformation, disinformation in their rise to power and continue by their devotees / groups to maintain that power...control in their country.

I really don't get the fascination. I don't remember ZH ever breaking a story, and all the links posted are just opinion pieces on original source material. But if you link the original MSM source material, that doesn't carry the same "heft" with these rubes. Leads one to believe they just enjoy the spin/slant of the safe space info bubble

This isn't exchange at all. Not even in the slightest. I consider you view points, you dismiss mine. I ask questions to you and listen to the answers. Or at least I used to. You point out flaws I have and call me names (like other posters you compare me to) and such. That might be "exchange" to you. it is not to me. I'm sure I'm wrong about that, too - according to you.

Trump does stupid things, ergo everyone who votes for Trump must be stupid. That's it. That's your whole theory. It cannot possibly be other things, like the fact that the candidate put forth by the democratic party is so poorly aligned with a way of thinking that someone would rather choose the ape or proverbial bull in a china shop over your savior. That's almost exactly how you see things (or don't see them).

and the way trump acts right now is somehow similar to hitlers last days in berlin 1945. if he can't have his way, then everything else doesn't matter to him.

back then it was russian bombs, etc. - now it's covid ...

How would you if you never paid attention to them? There are a number of things - related to COVID or in the financial world that they reported that was considered fringe - until main stream finally picked up on it. So yeah, they have.

Yes. Because he is not a thinking, feeling human being. He is a sociopath. Who, other than a fool, votes into office a proven sociopath? To be the most powerful man on earth? WHO?!
