Is trading sexualy inviting...

Quote from TorontoTrader2:

See my sig.

Whoops, ET just banned sigs. Well it used to read:

"Please, I'm not a daytrader, I'm an "Intraday Liquidity Provider" :p "
Why did ET ban sigs? I noticed that earlier. Mine said:
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time
- T.S. Eliot -
:)

Maybe that's why. :D

Wondering why you think that....
Quote from JanaSergeevna:

I was also wondering. I could understand it much more easily the other way round. Looking at the general trading culture and especially the general tenor of the posts here, I could understand female traders perhaps not wanting anyone to know who they were more easily than why a male trader might pretend to be female, which is pretty difficult to imagine (?) ...
My comments were not about you two specifically, or even about ET for that matter. It was just a general observation that the internet is an excellent vehicle for deception among those with a propensity to do so. This phenomenon is regularly documented in news magazine television programs. Since female traders are relatively rare, and female traders who post on trading sites are probably rarer still, one takes notice when they (apparently) surface. However, I'm sure you'll both be delighted and relieved to know that, despite my natural skepticism, I am cautiously optimistic about you two. :D

Do you find insulting other people funny? I see. Thanks for sharing. Good to know who's who. :)

To be candid, I actually like the signature that you described. It is generally insightful and even has application to the trading learning curve. But I will tell you what I don't like. Your actual post was shorter than the signature. That sort of thing just adds clutter and I, personally, don't like clutter. Add to that the fact that numerous signatures I have seen were not only long but pretentious and pompous as well. So, on balance, I think we are better off without them even though I admittedly used one as well. The site administrator probably had different reasons for disliking signatures, but those are my reasons.

Thank you for asking. :)

I guess clutter comes in many forms. Thanks for sharing. :)
