Indeed. I've learned that des is not a poster to be trifled with and does not deserve suck treatment unless in jest, as he knows some good shit. And I also like Zerosniffer for using the word "fatuous" in a reply above. I really like that word, and have not ever seen it used here in my past readings. So he is also OK in my book.

So Zerosniffer wins the "never-before-used-word-forever" of-the-day-award-thing, that I have not seen, and...umm.

Yes, but for us minnows, so are many other human endeavors with huge rewards at the end of the road:

Training to play in the NBA, NFL, MLB, professional soccer, be an actor/actress, studying to be a doctor, running for elected office, trying to get into the US as an illegal, starting a business .... Anything with big potential rewards always has low odds.

Comparing to some of those, day traders have better odds according to one published reports (5% profitable, from a Taiwan study).

I get the sense that it is not over 5K different people who have viewed this thread.

5k views is just that...views. Everytime you come here it is another view. Could be 30 people checking every 5 minutes haha...

You are wasting your time here. I have never found anything of value to me on this forum. I am sure that there will be people here of value to you who will have things to say which might interest or help you. But you can see the quality of the people who have taken against you on this thread. They are not worth your while. If you had hoped to achieve any useful purpose from this thread then surely you realise by now that you are wasting your time? Or is there perhaps some publicity value to it!? I don't know. I don't know what your aims are. But I don't think you will achieve anything very useful by continuing to talk to these people

On the flipside, you have provided zero value yourself while expect others to provide it for you. I'm sure you see no problem with that.

Most of the members who are trading seriously would not waste a minute on you.

That is needed mathermatically. If we would have higg odds to have big rewards the math woulds not add up anymore. Just like we need a lot of losers for a few traders to make a lot of money.
