As a fellow lawyer I will be happy to go to the local law school and grab some 3L clinic students who can answer your "claim" of slander/libel/defamation, or educate you being an English citizen. They could use the experience.

Hi again Zeno,

I am increasingly coming to the same conclusion as the one you stated earlier concerning the characteristics of this forum but will write up a concluding statement of 'lessons learned' when I think this forum has run its course (for me anyway) .

What is surprising is that over 5k people have viewed this thread so far but a minority of very vocal and emotionally weak posters appear to constantly attack me with outlandish claims, conspiracy theories, swearing, 'labelling' and so on. They only represent a tiny fraction of a percentage of the viewers. I would welcome more comments within the silent majority of viewers.

If anything, this thread supports what I call 'distillation theory' in human relationships. Sooner or later, just like a fractional distillation column, different groups of people with different aptitude levels and emotional intelligence congregate at certain levels of the column. Just like in the distillation column, some are incapable of going higher being 'denser' than the others. Sometimes it is a question of 'finding your level' and not dropping to someone else's.

Also, increasingly, I am getting fewer and fewer qualms about being a hunter and less and less sympathy for the hunted. I am not sure if this is a positive or a negative thing at this stage.

Sorry, I am so anal about stats, so I have to ask for clarification...

@Magna @Baron Does the "number of views" statistic in the forum list show a simple number-of-clicks to the thread by anyone, or unique-click member views and/or by IP #?

I get the sense that it is not over 5K different people who have viewed this thread.
