Draw a line (left to right) on a slight angle though the top row of dots. The line should be angled to pass throught the top of the first "0", the middle of the second "0" and near the bottom of the third "0". Extend to line out to the right and then start the second line through the middle row (right to left) at a slight angle, hitting the right most "0" at the top and and leftmost "0" at the bottom... extend this line out to the left. If your realized P/L is greater than your unrealized P/L could you exit at will? and start over? In that 20Y example do you think parity was ever reached? and a reset done?

If the ebb and flow of the negative destination is 3 times the resulting range WHATEVER IT MAY BE, could the above be possible and certain?

You guys really impressed me with that dot thing...(you give new meaning to the phrase to think outside of the box).

You must assume acceleration of the realized is greater than the unrealized and size your trade to allow you enough time. Now I want you to look at the EUR/USD and the USD/CHF and tell me how long it takes to reach parity...No nevermind, some of you will actually do it...just kidding. I am doing it now with forward testing.

P.S. what is puzzling to me this guy that trades this with 15 pairs says he has never taken a stop loss and has a two year time frame and can withstand an equivolent of the max ten year range. Maybe he was trying to throw me off....
 
Folks,

If you can tolerate a high Unrealized in exchange for a daily injection of capital to your realized, I suggest you consider a high sub-account cash balance (earning 1.9% interest at Oanda) to remove the "gamble" from your trading with the examples I cited..

There are other ways to trade without the gambling element, also (and I am always looking for them)...

The "gravity" of trading can be on your side....

Without this becoming a Journal, I will post todays trades (spreadsheet) and a few more spreadsheets summarizing the trades in the days to come, to illustrate the poll and the purpose of this trading thread. If the interest is high enough we can go over to a Journal next week. Please vote, EVERYBODY

If I may interject for system #1.....:)

Your sub-account can be your gambling meter......(for those of you that think trading is gambling)

Decide your desired yield with trade size(you must endure 10y range) and plop the appropriate amount of money in your sub...

Do you see it yet?


Someone once told me that if you put an ATM machine in someones living room they might not use it.

Forex is 1.5 trillion....Lets see if we can dilute it!
