Is trading easy?

[Overnight]

3815 was today's level, not tomorrow.

Oh, I see, you guys were talking about what HAD happened, not what you thought was GOING to happen, after it happened. I missed that bit.

I wonder why nobody ever wonders what is GOING to happen, and does an analysis on THAT, which I guess I just did. So 3900 before 3815, based upon current price of 3850. Anyone else wanna' take that trade?

I compare Globex volume with previous Globex session volume. Same for RTH.

As well as volume at time of day (minute bars) against 20 days average for again that particular minute.

My win rate is about 50/50 but Avg winner is 3 times greater than avg loser.

Thanks for the info. I really do appreciate it. Do you wonder how you can increase the win rate? Of course there was a post a few pages back about how this can be troublesome, but do you not think that you are missing something if you get it wrong half the time?

Here is the problem I have with your premise: the markets are fat and gay, and only reflect how people are positioning. I cannot predict that they are going to want to buy up to 3900. Technically, I'd want a retest of 3820 first and if that holds, then I can see 3900.

But people can predict that they will hit 3815 during RTH? What's wrong with a little overnight action prediction, blowing the hell out of technicals? What, people are afraid of overnight action? Why?

I can only follow the premise that the overnight market will like the RTH session reaction to the Fed meeting minutes, along with overnight econ data if it is positive. 3900 might be a stretch, but that is my call.

I hate to predict... I just want to define what *IS* happening. And if something *IS* happening, what is likely to happen next (usually continuation)

As an aside, one of the things I struggled with was certain behaviors in women that seemed to almost be counter to what was good for them. Us guys are logical, and it just made sense that a woman would have the capacity to also realize that their actions are sometimes counter to what would produce a better outcome for them. But after learning about so much of their pre-wired firmware and thirst to reproduce with the alpha, it was obvious that the feminine centric world men grow up in is not conducive to figuring this out. As Rollo Tomassi says, he would have 60 year old men crying to him about being blackmailed for sex their whole life and still have the fear of losing their woman who in no way deserved any more attention. Thank god for YouTube and the red pilled brothers on there.

What's my point? Sometimes we need to be spoon fed even if we are so close!

Forget women. Once you can afford this guy, and you lift weights, the women will come and they will stay in line as long as you keep doing that. If you can't afford it, then nothing wrong with a hooker with a heart of gold, I'm sure they exist.

I remember years ago watching videos from a supposedly expert trader called FT71 (Futures Trader 71). He went on to start a futures brokerage I think.... and its obvious why!

Anyway, so many guys would wait for his morning prep videos, and every video essentially started with we either go down and hit these levels first, or we go up and hit these other levels up there. Sure, maybe if you hit exact levels and turn on a dime its useful, but if every day your game plan is "first we go down and then we go up", or "first we go up and then we go down", I'm not sure how revolutionary any of this is.

I don't give a shit about the women, my post was meant as an inspiration piece to get you to share what it is that made you say I'm so close!!! I doubt its even that transformational.
