Yes. Slow is a relative term. We're not talking minutes, but more seconds than you are used to.
Some latency in execution. Nothing too worrisome. But in ES, ticks count. If you are not a short term trader, not a problem.
For stocks this is not a factor. Fills are in a blink.
Try it for yourself. They will credit you 30 day trial. Then all you have to do is make X trades per month in whatever stock/future/fx you trade and platform/charts/radarstation/optionstation is free.
For example 10 round turn futures contracts. 25k shares of stock. Dont know what FX is.
For what you get, this is a great deal.
This is the only way to know anything.
Test it.
For me, the only reason why I use TS is easylanguage which Ive used for some time and can write stuff on the fly. The best software is the one you know how to use and are effective with. But mostly for Radarstation. Bit of a resource hog. But a current rig will handle it no problemo.
I have multiple backups and use others for the majority of my executions.
TS is solid. So is QT.
Quote from version77:
Can I ask what you mean by "little slow for futures"?
Do you mean slow executions, or?...
