Is Tim Sykes really a scammer?

This is what he says exactly:

sent this email out to everyone Thursday night and while I was pretty close to GNIN crashing big, it did drop 13%, now I think Monday will be the BIG crash day so I’m glad to be short 26,000 shares…my goal is to make $10,000+ in less than an hour, think I can do it?

Im not playing any hand. I haven't a clue what that guy is talking about. I don't trade for clients with options or in any way.

Interesting, thanks for the information. It can;t be done with big size, TS says this often. That's likely why the brothers had to close their operation and TS didn;t keep trading his hedge fund. surf

I hear Icahn is loading up on GNIN for this to be the mother of all short squeezes. Apparently he doesn't like Sykes either.

I don't have an account with E-Trade.
What does "may take some work on your end to locate shares" mean? There either are shares to borrow or aren't, it's as simple as that.
IB has one of the best shortable lists according to many, will check if GNIN is available on Monday.

This is exactly why his account on Covestor was suspended. When in reality he would've gotten 100 shares short on a $1 stock (as good as getting nothing), according to Covestor the whole order was filled. It's a somewhat elaborate scammer's trick.
