Is this what the market has come to?

Looking at the ES so far today this is what we have..

new high on the open, sell off to new low, buying to new high, now selling to new low... its just buying algo after selling algo

no trend, no rhyme or reason for these moves just computer pushing the mkt wherever it feels like at the time

is this all the market is right now or am i not seeing things right?
 
Not to sound like a know-it-all, but yesterday was a trend day and today is rangebound (so far). Pretty classic pattern over the years I've been trading. 5.50 range ... not great but decent for this time of day, and I guarantee it'll expand from here. :)
 
a free market would go down to reflect it's estimation on the economy 6 months out , bernanke has the largest trading acct ,so new rules until he takes his balll and goes home
