Is this really it? (re: possible Obama's Kenyan B.C. - Attny Taitz)

Quote from bigdavediode:

I have a question -- how is there a Republic of Kenya birth certificate from before Kenya became a Republic?

Kenya was commonly called a Republic after the declaration of Independence.

Here is a site that references it as Republic before the 1964 date.

http://www.enhols.com/kenya_safari/history.aspx

" Kenya achieved internal self-government on June 1st 1963. Kenya was declared a republic on December 12th 1963 with Jomo Kenyatta as 1st the president. Kenyatta died in 1978 and Daniel Arap Moi took over."

Kenya was admitted to the UN as a country on 12/16/1963

Here is an old newspaper article in 6/64 referring to Kenya as a republic.

http://news.google.com/newspapers?i...DAAAAIBAJ&pg=6639,744164&dq=republic-of-kenya

Here is item off of China's web site referring to Kenya as Repubic as of12/14/1963

The People's Republic of China Established the diplomatic relations with the Republic Of Kenyaon the day of December 14, 1963. In the initial days of the establishment the relations between the two countries it saw a fair development. After 1965, the relation of the two countries was lowered to be at the chargé d'affaires level and towards the beginning of 1970s it gradually returned to the normal. In 1978, when President Daniel Arap Moi came in power, the relation of the two countries gained a fast development. With frequent mutual visits at high level the friendly cooperation has witnessed outstanding achievements in many fields. By the end of 2002 when a new government was formed after Mwai Kibaki was elected President of the country he expressed to hold a great account of the relations with China, willing to further deepen and expand the friendly cooperation between the two countries."

People who are concerned about using the term Republic must be losing sleep at night over the use of African as Obama's Sr race.

I for one hope this argument continues and intensifies over the next few years. The craziness will ensure that Obama is re-elected for a second term.

As long as he can dig up his BC he can run. Otherwise forget it.

Nevertheless, it became a Republic in December 1964. CIA world fact book.

I have another question

In 1961 Mombasa was very much part of Zanzibar and not part of Kenya. Why did Kenya issue a birth certificate for part of the country that wasn't even part of the country at that time?

:)

Why should he?

I would do the same thing, just for the fun of watching the fringe element go even more wacko then they already are...

Quote from jem:

why doesn't the president release his records?

He did. You can see pictures of the birth certificate on the web, the Hawaii Department of Health has verified it, twice, there were birth notices in the newspapers from the time -- everything else is a figment.

But a wonderfully entertaining one.

lol

Thank you. Thank you for four more years. Tell your friends and family. Be vocal. Have another "tea(bag?) party", except make this one about Obama being an illegal. It is your duty as an American. Go!!!

That document is dated in Feb 1964. Just go over to moveon.org and get all your questions from the tin foil hat crowd over there and I will answer them for you.
