Is this PR deceptive?

I would like the opinion of someone on this please.

A stock I own released what seems to be a very good PR Friday after the markets closed. It concerns the signing of a new contract and uses the term GMP, which apparently stands for "Guaranteed Maximum Price".

Here is the PR.

I've never heard this term before and was wondering if anyone else had. I don't know if they are trying to make this contract sound bigger than it really is or what.

Thanks.

'Affordable housing' in Thailand is corrugated steel secured to bamboo posts. An American firm building affordable housing in Thailand? What a croc ...

I haven't heard that term used before either.

I assume that PR indicates what the maximum dollar size of the contract could be, but it would probably be far more helpful to indicate what the likely size (or, say, minimum size) of the contract is. I mean, saying that the maximum size is $10 mill could mean that the contract is actually worth $10 mill, zero, or anything in between.

On their website, they show the Petronas towers. Maybe they built that too? There's also a picture of a bridge. Maybe you want to buy it too?!

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here ever met anyone with a track record of success from playing penny stocks?

The Vancouver promoters do ok :p

I bought in at $800, three years ago.

Just waiting to get back to breakeven so I can get out.:D
