Is this normal?

I was born, raised and continue to live in a former Communist country.

The Communists has a very efficient way to deal with the recalcitrants. Put them into an insane asylum. Communism is perfect, hence to contest it's perfection equates to insanity.

What's yer thoughts on this?

As good a definition of insanity as any other. Although personally anyone who doesn't think like me is probably eligible for the asylum (unless they are needed at large in society to e.g. serve cappuccinos in my fave cafe or perform other essential tasks).
