Well, that depends, did he get long AAPL when it hit 200 and take it back up for 30 pts? Did he get long PG from the bottom?
Saying "I told you so" or "I told you this was coming" or words to that effect is one thing, but actually BUYING when there is fear in the market is another.
So if he called the top before the "flash crash" then ya, I'd say he was good in his TIMING.
