I have one thing to say. With great reward comes great risk.

Hmm, the spread is pretty big in the mini crude,
Quote from invertedCurve:
what are you talking about? There is no big spread in mini crude there are different product spreads: a spread called the crack spread, there is a spread between WTI and Brent, there is a spread between natty gas and WTI. There is no spread in the minis the bid and ask is tight. There might be some people on the NYMEX floor holding on for their dear lives arbing the big and mini as happened in Chicago with the Spooz unfortunately for them the market is faster and more complex now than then.
To Nirav35...I trade the mini Crude Oil...normally spread is .25...other times .50...yes, I consider that big...better to trade the big CL contract and it is like .01 usually...I can trade the mini crude at daytrade margin of $1,200 and the huge/big Crude at daytrade margin of $2,700..what are you looking at now and when will you start trading...with the cash you have...really can trade anything...but do much researchQuote from nirav34:
It's .50 between bid and ask right? Well isn't that a bit too much?

maybe I should have said it this way, I have the mini crude 'about to be traded'...meaning,researching, in my trade window etc. and looking to pull the trigger...yesterday I traded 4 ES (emini SP) at $300 daytrade margin and sold for 6 points...nice profit $$$...honestly, with your huge cash...'the sky is the limit'...but, research, research, research and then start small...best trading...let me know if I can help..Quote from nirav34:
Well, I won't be trading anytime soon. I still have lot to learn. How many contracts do you day trade, and what's an average profit for a day for you? Thanks.
