I’m not sure if you are still having trouble finding co-founders (given that your post was from 2017), but I can completely empathize with you on the co-founder dilemma you were running into. I went through the same co-founder fit struggles with a startup that I co-founded (fish and shrimp farming software platform… yes very random haha) which we recently decided not to continue moving forward with after working on our hardware/software engineering for 2 years.

One of the biggest lessons I learned was how critical it is to find motivated co-founders that have grit and share the same hard working mindset when it comes to putting in the long hours needed to pull things off and move fast.

Just a random thought from an amateur retail trader who doesn't have a clue what he is talking about:

What about converting your concept to a gasoline gift card format, redeemable for gasoline? Others have gift card redeemable for chocolates, candies, toys... The reason gift cards are profitable, most card holder don't completely redeem their value and you also have the advantage of free float.

Can be a gift to someone ? Sure i guess

a gas card is a gift card essentially, premts buy it all the time for their kids, its called a gas card specifically because you can only that card at gas stations For gas only, is it called gift gas card? I dont know but what i know is these cards have dollars as their denomination as with every gift card, thus a consumer pays the price at the pump

think like a prepaid phone card, you buy it its got minutes on it and you can only use it for calling

is it called phone gift card? I guess not but same purpose of a gift it can be used that way
