Not strictly day trading, but some intra-day and inter-day swing and had no problems.
The activity statements were somewhat confusing for CFD trades. Arithmetically I wasn't entirely sure how some numbers were calculated, but total P&L did tally with my independent records. Some stocks I wanted to trade weren't available as CFDs, but still an extensive range.
After getting used to TWS I found it more than adequate, but you might find it disappointing if coming from ToS. I wasn't using L2 or T&S but TWS was my only source for real-time intra-day charts.
